Simple Steps to experience Easy Ride service

1. Get started with Easy Ride:
   Open the Octopus App. Tap “Easy Ride” under “Highlights” on homepage.
2. Enter pick-up and drop-off locations
3. Choose vehicle type and fare option
   Select your preferred vehicle type and fare option based on your needs or budget. System will automatically apply any eligible eCoupon and display the discounted prepaid fare instantly*.
4. After completing your ride
   • If the final fare differs from the prepaid amount, the system will either issue a refund or request payment for any outstanding balance.
   • If additional payment is required: Tap “Proceed to Pay” and complete the payment using your Octopus Card or Octopus Wallet.
   • If a refund is due:
     • Octopus Wallet / Octopus on iPhone and Android: The refund will be returned directly to your Wallet / Octopus on iPhone and Android;
     • Octopus Card or other Mobile Octopus: Go to “Registered Octopus”, select the relevant card, check “Pending Actions”, and tap “Collect” to receive your refund.
