- Can physical Octopus users participate in this promotion?
This promotion is only open to Mobile Octopus or JoyYou Card holder. If physical Octopus users wish to participate, please add or transfer your physical card to the Mobile Octopus before making a purchase. Once the card is successfully added, you can use the Mobile Octopus to participate in this promotion.

- How can you know if you have successfully won an Octopus Reward?
When you use a Mobile Octopus or JoyYou Card at physical store of a participating merchant and make a single net purchase of $100 or more through the new Octopus Reader, you will hear a prompt sound in Cantonese from the new Octopus Reader and see a video displaying the Reward Value on the screen. This indicates that you have successfully won an Octopus Reward.
- Value $28 Reward sound: “嘩嘩嘩發達啦！恭喜你贏咗價值28蚊八達通獎賞！”
- Value $8 Reward sound: “超正呀！恭喜你贏咗價值8蚊八達通獎賞！”
- Value $2 Reward sound: “正呀！恭喜你贏咗價值2蚊八達通獎賞！”
- After completing the transaction, how can you check the Reward Value or Octopus remaining value?
After completing the transaction and winning an Octopus Reward, your Mobile Octopus or JoyYou Card balance will be updated instantly. You can view the Reward Value on the merchant receipt and also check your balance after winning the Reward through the Octopus App.
The note on the merchant receipt will say: " Congrats! You've won an Octopus Value $X Reward. Check your updated balance on the Octopus App after winning your Reward if needed."

- Can I win Octopus Reward multiple times in one day?
Yes, as long as you use a Mobile Octopus or JoyYou Card at any physical store of the participating merchants and make a net purchase of $100 or more through the new Octopus Reader, each eligible transaction will allow you to participate in the lucky draw for a chance to win Reward Value $28, $8 or $2!
