OKManaging your Octopus Wallet
You can check the online transactions of your account within the previous 270 days by tapping profile icon from top left corner > "Receipts" in Octopus App. You can also check your Wallet transactions up to the past 90 days and download account statements of the past 12 months by accessing "Wallet" > "All" in the Activities section > select Monthly Statement icon.
To save a copy of the statement, you may download the file in pdf format if you are using an Android device, or you may forward the statement using the function provided by iOS.
In Octopus App, select profile icon from top left corner > "Security" > "Password" to change your password.
Please note that your password must consist of 8-12 characters with letters and numbers.
If you have forgotten your password, please click "Forgotten Password?" in the login screen. Enter your registered mobile number and you will receive an email to confirm the reset password request. Click the link in the email and a verification code will be sent to you via SMS. After you enter the verification code, you can set a new password in the Octopus App.
In Octopus App, select profile icon from top left corner > "Account Settings" > "Email Address". After submitting the new email address, an email will be sent to you for verification. Please click the link embedded in the verification email to confirm the change of email address.
The service is available for Wallet Plus and Pro (Verified). In Octopus App, select profile icon from top left corner > "Account Settings" > "Mobile" to change your mobile number.
Please note that if you have registered for Faster Payment System (FPS) Addressing Service with your old mobile number, the registration will be cancelled accordingly. Please sign up again with your new mobile number.
If you are using Wallet Lite, you need to cancel your Wallet and re-apply for the service with your new mobile number.
Please contact us to update your personal information.
If you want to access your Wallet on a new device, simply download and install the Octopus App and input your mobile number and password. A verification code will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS. Please enter the verification code on your new device.
If you don't want other Wallet users to know about your Octopus Wallet, you can disable the showing of your Wallet status by tapping profile icon from top left corner > "Security" > turn off "Show Your User Status". Other Wallet users will not be able to add you as their Wallet friend if you disable this function.
You can enable fingerprint login with designated Android mobile device for your Wallet as follows:
- Tap profile icon from top left corner > "Security"
- Set "Biometrics" as "On"
The following mobile device brands with Fingerprint Authentication feature and are running on Android 6.0 version or above will support fingerprint login for Octopus Wallet, except specific mobile device models*.
