Octopus and Boutir Partner to Help
Merchants Create Online Stores and Accept Payments via
Octopus App for Business

(Hong Kong, 4 March 2021) Online shopping is increasingly popular, especially as the COVID-19 pandemic prompts more people to shop from home, in turn spurring many merchants to expand their online business and small merchants to open online stores. To use online payments via Octopus card and Octopus Wallet, merchants using Boutir only need to download the Octopus App for Business and submit simple documents for approval of a business account via smartphones. Once approved, a merchant can check transaction records and account balance at any time, as well as instantly transfer the account balance to their registered bank account without any installation and set up cost.
