Octopus to Sponsor 'Mobile Game World' at ACGHK 2025
HONG KONG, 18 July 2025 — Octopus Cards Limited (Octopus) will be the title sponsor for the "Mobile Game World" at Ani-com & Games Hong Kong (ACGHK) 2025, which runs from 25 to 29 July.
As part of its sponsorship, Octopus will launch a set of exclusive, limited-edition hololive Gen 0 physical Octopus cards and other mobile game merchandise.
Currently, around 80% of Gen Z users use either Mobile Octopus or the Octopus App. And the new generation’s online spending is surging. Octopus has enabled payments for popular online games such as "Wuthering Waves," "PUBG Mobile," and "Honor of Kings."
Promotions at the Octopus booth (H05) will include:
- A welcome offer for new Mobile Octopus users, including a free card face and a $100 top-up value with a purchase of $50 or more.
- Entry into the “Octopus Black Card Lucky Draw” for attendees who spend $100 or more with Mobile Octopus. The prize is valued at $91,250.
Guest ambassadors will include Taiwanese cheerleader Lee A Young and Japanese Vtuber Hanamiya Rica, who is scheduled to perform.
