This year, a Panel of Judges consisting of professionals from the government, FinTech, academic, social welfare and parenting sectors is formed to select the winners from each category. The list of the judging panel is as follows:

Lee Hok-yin, Secondary Four student from Christian Alliance SW Chan Memorial College was the champion in the Secondary Junior category last year. His winning masterpiece was named Smart Aluminium Cans Recycling Box. He shared that "To solve the waste management issue in Hong Kong, plus to promote waste separation and recycling, citizens can download the App, link it with the ‘Smart Can Recycling Box', separating the plastic bottles and aluminium cans. The idea allows users to gain bonus points with the use of Octopus cards, and helps collect big data for further analytics by the government in refining the relevant environment policies."
Lee joined the STEM-study-tour with the champion in the Secondary Senior category and other fellow runners-up to visit Japan last July.
This year, winners and runners-up in the Secondary School category will be once again given the chance to have an eye-opening tour to South Korea. Winners and runners-up in the Primary School category will be awarded free STEM classes, allowing them to further develop their interests in the topic.
What's more, an additional "Most Popular Creation Award" is added, with the works from the shortlisted contestants uploaded to Facebook for public voting. The works gaining most public votes will be the winner.
