From 16 April to 15 June 2019, passengers using either an Octopus card or O! ePay for its first taxi ride hailed via the eTaxi app can each receive a HK$5 rebateFrom 23 August to 22 October, the first 16,000 new customers who successfully add Smart Octopus in Samsung Pay are entitled to receive HK$50 Octopus top-up value as a welcome offer. In addition, the eligible customers can receive a HK$10 rebate for every transaction of HK$50 or above using Smart Octopus.
