Long Holiday Reminder for Merchants
To help merchants avoid overdue settlements during long holiday seasons, such as Christmas or Chinese New Year, OCL will send email notifications to schools and copier/printer service providers etc one to two weeks ahead, reminding them to upload their Octopus transaction data on time.
Octopus Secure Data Exchange (OSDX) Channel for Data Transfers through Broadband Internet
OSDX is the major Octopus data transfer channel for Octopus merchants, and has become popular since its introduction. Now OSDX can support broadband internet to provide a more secure and faster data transfer service. Merchants should ensure the version of their workstation or system operating system supports OSDX and has anti-virus software installed.
