Continuous Efforts to Learn from the Industry
As an environment-conscious home-grown brand, OCL has been voluntarily participating in green audits schemes. After obtaining the results from the professional industry organisations, OCL will then carry out appropriate measures to further support the green initiatives. One of the key schemes is the World Green Organisation’s Green Office Awards Labelling Scheme which OCL had joined for the third year.
Caring the Environment Starts with Me
OCL understands it is a collaborative effort to achieve green goals. We have initiated various activities in our office to promote and advocate the green concept among our employees, such as a pledging campaign named “Sustainability Starts with Me”; an initiative that advocating giving a second chance to used materials called “Octopus Green Office Sharing”; and regular workshops from industry professionals to share green or sustainability tips.
OCL also supports good deeds in the community by sponsorship or donation. From the beginning of the year until now, we have taken part in the mooncake boxes recycling and red packets recycling campaigns, saving more than 300 pieces of useful and recyclable materials from going to the dumpsite. We have also sponsored once again World Green Organisation’s annual dinner, supporting their efforts to promote green awareness among the corporate sector.
