Successful Octopus Application by Sunshine Laundry

Sunshine Laundry Locker
Launched in October 2015 by Sunshine Laundry Group, the “Super eLocker” is one-of-a-kind 24/7 laundry service leveraging on the convenience of the Octopus payment system.

To enjoy this service, customers just need to drop off their laundry at the “Super eLocker” and pay with Octopus. Items dropped off before 10am will be ready for collection by 5pm. Items dropped off after 10am will be ready for pick up the next day after 5pm.

Staff of Sunshine Laundry will collect the items from the eLockers, have them cleaned, dried, folded and deliver them back to the eLockers. The system will then send a SMS to inform the customers the passwords for opening the eLockers. The customers just need to input the password on the screen and open the eLocker to pick up their items.

The “Super eLocker” laundry service demonstrates how the Octopus payment system can add value to services offered by its merchants to provide greater convenience to the customers.

Since 1993, Sunshine Laundry Group has operated more than 60 retail laundry shops including the traditional Sunshine Laundry Convenience stores and the first 24-hour self-service laundry brand Sunshine 24, with Super eLocker drop-off service.
