How to Participate
During the promotion period, simply pay with your Octopus^ on the bus routes listed below to automatically earn one lucky draw entry per single journey. No registration required.
- KMB Cross-Border Routes: B1 / B9#
- All LWB Routes#
^It is not applicable to Child Octopus and Personalised Octopus whose holder is aged below 11 at any time during promotion period; Octopus issued to the OCL / KMB / LWB ‘s staff or their dependants according to its staff policy.
#Applicable KMB and LWB bus routes exclude jointly operated bus routes not operated by KMB or LWB, and Routes K12, K14, K17 & K18.
Lucky Draw Arrangement
The lucky draws will be conducted in three rounds, based on the travel dates on designated routes. Winners will be randomly selected by a computer system:
- Grand Prize: 5 winners per round, 15 winners in total
- Second Prize: 15 winners per round, 45 winners in total
Non-winning entries will be automatically carried forward to the next round until the last round. The more you ride and tap, the higher your chances of winning!

Grand Prize

Second Prize
A HK$300 Greater Bay Airlines flight discount code, applicable to designated routes under the "Value Go" fare plan.

Winner Announcement & Prize Redemption
The winning Octopus numbers will be announced on this webpage, as well as on Octopus’ Facebook and Instagram, according to the following schedule.
Non-winning entries will automatically carry forward to the next round, increasing your chances of winning!

- Each Octopus is eligible to win once only during the promotion period.
- Winners must email oclmarketing@octopus.com.hk by 5:00 p.m. on 5 September, with the following information for prize registration:
1) A photo clearly showing the winning Octopus number; and
2) Contact phone number; and
3) Full name as shown on the Hong Kong Identity Card
Octopus Cards Limited (“OCL”) will contact winners via email to make appointment for prize redemption letter collection upon such email is received. Please note that OCL will not proactively contact winners unless the required email is received. - Winners must collect the prize redemption letter in person at the OCL office on the pre-scheduled date and time before 5:00 p.m. on 19 September, with the following documents:
1) Winning Octopus; and
2) Hong Kong Identity Card; or
3) If the winner is unable to collect in person, an authorised representative must provide a signed authorisation letter, a copy of the winner’s HKID, and the original HKID of the authorised person. - If the winner is under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must accompany them and present supporting documents (e.g. birth certificate or legal guardianship proof) to collect the prize on their behalf.
- Winners must redeem the prize according to the instructions stated in the prize redemption letter, subject to the terms and conditions issued by Greater Bay Airlines.
- If the prize is not redeemed within the specified period, or if the Octopus is suspended, terminated, cancelled, lost, or stolen at the time of redemption, the prize will be forfeited without further notice.
