Faster Payment System (FPS)
You can transfer funds from your own bank account to your O! ePay Account / Octopus by setting up an electronic direct debit authorisation (eDDA). Click here for more detail.
The service is available for O! ePay Plus and O! ePay Pro Accounts. The registered name and mobile number of your bank account must be the same as your O! ePay Account. Please note that joint name accounts may not be supported.
Set up an electronic direct debit authorisation (eDDA)^ with designated banks via Octopus App > "Faster Payment System"> "Bank Transfer to O! ePay".
^ Banks that support eDDA service will be rolled out gradually.
* If you are using Bank of China, please select bank code (012) and input the 14 digit bank account number.

Your bank account setting can be changed/cancelled in the Octopus App by clicking the "CANCEL BANK ACCOUNT" button in the Octopus App > "Settings"> "Account Settings" > "Bank Transfer Settings" page. Once the change request is submitted, your bank account setting with us will no longer be valid.
Yes. You can log into your e-banking platform or mobile banking app, and make a fund transfer to your O! ePay account with your O! ePay account number.

* The account number can contain up to 14 digits.
To use this function, you must set up your bank account through Octopus App. If your bank supports FPS, your fund transfer to your bank account will be instant. Otherwise, it will take roughly 2 to 3 business days to process.
The list of supporting banks / e-wallets is updated from time to time, the list can be found in the Octopus App. You may refer to Question 11 and 12 above for a step-by-step guide.

All payment transactions cannot be cancelled once completed. Please ensure the recipient and transfer details are correct before you submit the transaction. If you have mistakenly made a payment to a wrong person, please contact them directly to arrange to have the money reimbursed to you. If the case cannot be resolved, you can raise refund request by taking the following steps:
- Call Octopus Customer Service Hotline at 2266 2222
- Download the O! ePay Mis-Transfer Transaction Refund Request Form and submit the completed form to us
- Submit the form by email at email@example.com or by fax at 2266 2211
