OKUse and Manage Card Image
- Open Octopus App, click on the Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch or Octopus on Android
- Click “。。。” under the “Top up” button
- Click “Remove this card image from Mobile Octopus”
- Card image and App theme (if applicable) is removed
- Open Octopus App, click on the Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch or Octopus on Android
- Click “My Card Image”
- Select the card image you would like to apply on this Octopus
- Click “Apply”
- Change of card image and App theme is in progress
- Change of card image and App theme is completed
- Open Octopus App, click on the Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch or Octopus on Android
- Click “My Card Image”
- Select a card image you would like to change
- Click “Select”
- Select an Octopus for this card image
- Change of card image and App theme is in progress
- Change of card image and App theme is completed
The card image will be shown on the Mobile Octopus in both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
Please try to follow the steps given for Question 3 above, to reset the card image via Octopus App.
If you have purchased a card image with App theme successfully and App theme is not applied on Octopus App, you may go to the “Manage Octopus” page in the Octopus App and click “Refresh” button.
If you have more than one Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch registered in your Octopus Wallet, you may follow these steps:
- Open Octopus App, click on the Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch
- Select the card you would like to display on the main menu, then click “Setting”
- Turn on the option “Select this Octopus to display on main menu, then click save
No. Each card image and App theme is restricted to an individual Octopus Wallet account.
The card image(s) and App theme(s) can be switched between Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch, or Octopus on Android when they are registered with the same Octopus Wallet Account, unless for designated card images stating otherwise.
No. The card image(s) will remain on your Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch or Octopus on Android and App theme(s) will remain on “My Card Image”.
No. The card image and App theme will be parked to your iCloud account with your Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch.
No. The card image will be backup to Cloud with your Octopus on Android and the associated App theme will remain on Octopus App.
No. Your card image and App theme will be returned to “My Card Image”, and can be applied to another Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch before the expiry date, using the same Octopus Wallet account.
No. The card image and App theme will be returned to “My Card Image”. You may apply the card image to a new Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch or Android device before the expiry date.
No. The card image and App theme will be returned to “My Card Image” when the reported loss request or a refund of malfunction Octopus is processed. You may apply the card image on your Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch or Android device and App theme before the expiry date.
