Octopus Transaction Record Printing Service
Extended to Circle K

(Hong Kong, 24 July 2008) Octopus Cards Ltd ("OCL") today announced the extension of the Octopus transaction record printing service to Circle K. Starting from next Monday (28 July 2008), Octopus users can request a print-out of their last 10 transactions at over 270 Circle K outlets throughout Hong Kong.

This service extension demonstrates OCL's ongoing effort to provide more transaction enquiry channels and greater choice for Octopus users. They can now opt to use the Octopus transaction record printing service at Circle K outlets, MTR Customer Service Centres and 7-Eleven outlets throughout Hong Kong. The date, time, type of merchant and amount of each transaction, as well as the remaining value on the Octopus, will be clearly listed for easy reference. A nominal fee of HK$3 will be charged by Circle K, MTR and 7-Eleven for this printing service.

"Octopus and our service providers always strive to achieve service excellence for our users," said Prudence Chan, Chief Executive Officer of OCL. "The service extension with Circle-K has widened the array of transaction checking channels, bringing true convenience to Octopus users."

In addition, Octopus users can read the last 10 transaction records and the remaining value on their Octopus free of charge at 377 Octopus enquiry machines at MTR stations. PCCW eye subscribers can also check the last 10 transactions and the remaining value on their Octopus at home by connecting a card reader, provided by PCCW, to the eye device.

To check the amount of each transaction and the remaining value on their Octopus, users can always refer to the data displayed on the reader screen, or get a receipt from the merchant.
