(Hong Kong, 19 May 2008) Octopus Rewards Limited today announced the rollout
of an innovative customer rewards application – Octopus Rewards
e-Stamp ("Rewards e-Stamp"). The company is also teaming
up with leading local fast food operator Fairwood Holdings
Limited ("Fairwood") to launch the first promotional campaign
featuring this application.
From 19 May to 15 June 2008, Octopus Rewards members can earn one Rewards e-Stamp,
stored in their Octopus, with any purchase of HK$25 or above
at all Fairwood outlets in Hong Kong. Upon earning five Rewards
e-Stamps within one week (Monday to Sunday), a HK$10 cash
coupon will be issued automatically which is valid against
their next purchase at Fairwood.
With Rewards e-Stamp, whether Octopus
Rewards members are paying by cash, Octopus or any other
acceptable payment method, they are eligible to enjoy the
new benefits and earn Reward$ at the same time without the
need for separate registration. Plus they no longer have
to bring with them different types of coupons or stamps when
they want to redeem rewards. On the merchant side, Rewards
e-Stamp serves as a flexible and secure tool which gives
merchants control over their promotion models. Gone are the
days of paper stamps and coupons!
"Octopus Rewards e-Stamp is a merchant-driven
application which provides flexibility and allows customisation
of customer loyalty initiatives. And on the consumer side,
it takes the whole rewards experience to a new level of benefits
and convenience," said Beatrice Fung, Managing Director
of Octopus Rewards Limited. "With its introduction, we look
to create a win-win-win situation among Octopus Rewards,
our partners and our members."
"We are glad to be the first Octopus
Rewards partner to use the Rewards e-Stamp application,"
said Perry Chung, Marketing Director of Fairwood. "This
new application gives us great flexibility and allows us
to tailor
a promotion that can provide the best benefits to our customers.
It also provides us with a well-established platform and
lets us tap in to the extensive network of Octopus Rewards
members."
Today, Octopus Rewards covers different
aspects of life, and participating partners include 188 Pets
Supermarket, Arome Bakery, CHICKEEDUCK, Chinchilla Land,
Délifrance, Fairwood Fast Food, Fotomax Photofinishing Shop,
HSBC, Market Place by Jasons, McDonald's, Paradise Mall,

Kids, Swire Coca-Cola HK, Telford Plaza, UA Cinemas and Wellcome.
