(Hong Kong, 31 August 2007) Octopus Cards Limited will launch a new design of
the miniaturised Octopus, the multi-coloured Mini Octopus,
tomorrow (1 September), in response to the popularity of
the classic yellow Mini Octopus, which has become a hot accessory
in town since its debut in June.
The multi-coloured Mini Octopus will be on sale at all 7-Eleven convenience stores
from tomorrow onwards. It is the next hottest accessory in
town to bring you increased convenience and mobility in a
trendy style. Measuring 4.7 cm by 3 cm or 1/3 the size of
a standard-sized Octopus (see photographs) and with a key-ring
for attaching it to your bag or purse, or your favourite
electronic gadgets, Mini Octopus is your best lifestyle companion
on the move.
Like the standard Octopus, Mini Octopus
can be used on public transport and at more than 4,500 retail
outlets across Hong Kong, linked to the Automatic Add Value
Service and registered for the Octopus Rewards Programme
to earn Reward Dollars.
Mini Octopus is priced at HK$68 per
set with no deposit or initial stored value. For more details,
please visit the Octopus website (www.octopus.com.hk), or
call the Octopus Customer Hotline at 2266 2222.
