(Hong Kong, 7 May 2007) To celebrate Octopus' 10th Anniversary this year, Octopus
Cards Limited (OCL) has organised the Octopus Card Design
Competition and is now inviting the public to vote for the
"Consumer Choice Award".
The competition, which was open from 2 February to 16 March portraying the theme
of "Octopus is Everywhere in Hong Kong", aims to stimulate
the creativity and imagination of Hong Kong people. OCL has
received more than 1,200 entries, from which the judging
panel has selected the best 10. The winning design will be
used for the Octopus 10th Anniversary commemorative edition
card and on other commemorative items.
Now the public can cast their votes
for the "Consumer Choice Award", the one that they consider
the best from among the 10 final entries. Voting is open
from 7 May to 31 May 2007 at www.octopus.com.hk/vote/en.
Three lucky voters will be drawn from those who choose the
"Consumer Choice Award" winner and will each receive an
Octopus 10th Anniversary commemorative edition card. Voting
results
will be announced on Octopus' website (www.octopus.com.hk)
