After four months of learning and training, the students participating in the Octopus Kids' Nurturing Programme 2007 proudly showcased their talent and creativity at the Graduation Ceremony in January 2008.

The students' Chinese paintings, photographic collages and mathematical models were on display at the ceremony. There were also performances of taekwondo, English drama and African drums. Prudence Chan, Chief Executive Officer of Octopus Cards Limited, handed out awards to the financial management game winners.

The programme received positive feedback from parents, children and educators. In a post-programme survey, 75% of parents considered the programme helpful to their families. Over 70% thought it had helped develop their children's skills and potential. Over 70% of children said the programme had increased their skills and built their confidence.
"With the financial support of the programme, children who could not otherwise afford extracurricular activities were able to join in and explore their potential," said the principal of a participating primary school in Yuen Long. "Our school organised an exhibition after the programme, and the children were thrilled to see their artworks being displayed and their work gaining recognition. It's a real boost to their confidence."
