Octopus and the Hong Kong community
We have a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility, from kids' programmes to charity fundraisers.
Octopus Kids' Nurturing Programme
Co-organised with the St. James' Settlement, this programme helps underprivileged students enhance their all-round development by taking part in extracurricular activities.
Electronic Flag-selling Programme
Octopus and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service jointly launched the two-year pilot Electronic Flag-selling Programme. Octopus provided free Octopus readers, comprehensive technical support to the Programme to promote this convenient donation channel on flag days.
Octopus volunteers
Octopus volunteers have contributed more than 3,000 service hours in the past five years in support of various community volunteering services.
Other programmes
Octopus has lent support to Skyhigh Creative Partners, Community Chest and the Ronald McDonald House in charitable events.
