Octopus and the Hong Kong community

We have a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility, from kids' programmes to charity fundraisers.

Octopus Rehabilitation Transportation Subsidy Scheme

Octopus joined hands with The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation to launch the "Octopus Rehabilitation Transportation Subsidy Scheme" to provide accessible transportation service to low-income wheelchair users. The Scheme aims to facilitate the beneficiaries to better integrate into the community, thereby contributing to building a harmonious and caring society.

Octopus Kids' Nurturing Programme

Co-organised with the St. James' Settlement, this programme helps underprivileged students enhance their all-round development by taking part in extracurricular activities.

Octopus Ethnic Minority Children's Nurturing and Inclusion Programme

The Programme aims to provide Hong Kong's ethnic minority and new arrivals children the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities, learning the importance of financial management at a young age. It will help the children establish confidence and better integrate into the local community.

Electronic Flag-selling Programme

Octopus and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service jointly launched the two-year pilot Electronic Flag-selling Programme. Octopus provided free Octopus readers, comprehensive technical support to the Programme to promote this convenient donation channel on flag days.

Octopus volunteers

Octopus volunteers have contributed over 13,000 service hours in the past ten years in support of various community volunteering services.

Other programmes

Octopus has lent support to Skyhigh Creative Partners, Community Chest and the Ronald McDonald House in charitable events.
