Manager, Business Development, China

Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the business and the strategy and by doing so support the department and the company to actualize into business growth opportunity
- Support the department on project implementation and business development and lead to fruition on such new leads/new opportunity
- Act as a bridge between business owners and technical team on product development, system enhancements and technical evaluations
- Lead and initiate project including business planning, product roadmap, cost modeling, progress control, project execution; liaise and collaborate with external customers/partners as well as with various internal functions
- Prepare presentation, proposal, business case, risk assessment and project reporting
- Responsible for P&L, business growth, and other tangible measurements and performance indicators
- Provide strong support on legal and contract negotiation
- Provide innovative ideas to improve workflow and efficiency without sacrificing on sound risk and compliance parameters and requirements
- Work productively in a self-initiative manner and with colleagues in Mainland China
Requirements:
- University graduate in Business Management with 10 years' experience in relevant industry
- Solid experience in business development and project management in HK and Mainland China
- Good team player and willing to share, motivate and support others
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; multi-tasking, self-motivated and independent
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Putonghua is a must. One added Chinese local dialect is an advantage.
- Proficiency in writing and reading simplified Chinese; ability to use Pinyin in writing Chinese is preferred.
- Willing to travel and station in Mainland China
